How is my traffic school certificate going to be delivered to the court?

Following the completion of an online traffic school course, most schools will immediately mail your certificate of completion to the local driving authorities in your city. All you have to do is provide them with the correct information and they will take care of the paperwork for you.

While this method is convenient, the drawback is that you may have to wait several weeks for the information to be processed. Driving bureaus must be given the chance to receive the certificate, enter the information into your profile and to then to remove or alter the information concerning your citation on your driving record.

However, if you are in a rush then you can speed up this sometimes lengthy process by asking the online traffic school to deliver your certificate of completion directly to you. Generally there is an additional charge for this added convenience but if you are in a hurry to clear your record then the added cost is certainly worth it. By having your certificate of completion delivered directly to your home, you will be able to deliver it to the driving bureau in person. In many cases you can meet with an agent who will immediately remove the citation from your record for you. If that is not possible, then you can at least know exactly when the bureau received the certificate and can rest assured that your record will be changed within a short period of time.

So, the manner in which your certificate of completion is delivered to your driving bureau depends on your timeline and just how quickly you want your record cleaned.
