Do you have to go to driving schools to get a driving permit

My uncle just move to U.S. about 2 months ago and is looking to obtain his drivers license. Does he need to go to a driving school in order to get his driving permit?

yes in order to obtain drivers license your uncle will have to go to a driving school as he is from outside of US.

those who are from outside of US have to go to driving school to obtain drivers license.So your uncle must also join a driving school soon.

I would strongly suggest to have him attend a driving school regardless of the fact if it is required or not. He is going to learn a lot of the laws which are new to him which in fact could save him from costly tickets or accidents.
