Driving with a suspended drivers license

Last weekend, my brother was stupid enough to drive and get pulled over with a suspended drivers license (previous DUI)
He was speeding 10 MPH over the speed limit.
Anyone has an idea what kind of trouble he got himself into by driving with a suspended drivers license?

It depends on where you're located. I know in California they send you straight to jail for the DUI, and suspend your license for a year. So, if you're brother is in California, then I'm assuming he's probably in jail at this point if he was caught on a suspended license. Well, I'm going to assume he's in jail now since you're asking the whereabouts on this forum. Sorry. The laws can be strict about this kind of stuff if the license is suspended.

I'm very sure he's in major trouble. They won't take this lightly if he was previously in trouble for a DUI and he wasn't supposed to drive with a suspended license. Pray for mercy from a judge, that's about all I can tell you.
